ANNOUNCEMENTS MEMBER DUES Member dues are $70 for the semester, $80 for the year, and $65 for graduating seniors. Benefits include regional conference, agency tours, internship database, and many more. The final day to turn in dues is Tuesday, Feb. 23. WINTERFEST Thank for volunteering! AGENCY TOURS ISU PRSSA will travel to Chicago on Friday, Jan. 29 to visit Ogilvy PR and Hill + Knowlton. The cost is $10 per traveler. Today is the last day to sign up! THE X FACTOR DePaul PRSSA invited ISU PRSSA to attend “Creativity Forum: The PR X Factor” on Friday, Feb. 26 from 9:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Attendees will be able to attend two agency tours as well as two breakout sessions. The cost is $15 before Feb. 5 and $20 after Feb. 5. Learn more about the event here. PRESS RELEASE COMPETITION Members have the opportunity to write a press release about the event and receive free registration to the Creative Forum at DePaul University. The press release should follow AP Style guidelines and other format guidelines. Email the press release to the account by Feb. 2. WRITING TIPS:
T-SHIRT QUILT Members can purchase tickets for $1 for one ticket, $4 for five tickets, and $8 for 10 tickets. SOCIAL Mark your calendars for Sunday, Feb. 7 for a baking social. Members are encourage to bake sweets for the Chapter. The cost is $10 per attendee. More information coming soon. MEMBER ACCOMPLISHMENT Congratulations to Kimi Sanden, Relations Committee Director, who completed her first sub five minute mile! SPEAKER Next week, Eric Jome, Director of Media Relations at Illinois State will speak at Chapter. Please dress business casual.

AGENCY TEST WORKSHOP Dr. Smudde presented on insights to the agency writing test. You can view the basics and general topics here. The final day to turn in dues is Tuesday, Feb. 23. NATIONAL ASSEMBLY National Assembly meets every year to vote on changes to the national bylaws and the next National Committee. You can view the event website here. ISU PRSSA sends one delegate to National Assembly. The delegate must have junior standing or completed most of the degree requirements. Interviews will be held next Tuesday, Jan. 26, before Chapter. Email the account if you are interested. DIRECTOR OF DIGITAL MEDIA Executive Board is looking for a Digital Media Director for the Spring semester. Duties include taking pictures of all events, serving as webmaster, managing the Chapter’s social media account, tracking MIPs, and advise the Relations Committee. Email the account if you are interested. WINTERFEST Winterfest is on Wednesday, Jan. 20. We are looking for volunteers to work 30 minute shifts.
