At next week’s meeting, we will give out awards for those with the highest MIPS this semester. For those who ordered PRSSA graduation cords, they will be passed out during next week’s meeting. You must attend the meeting in order to receive your cord.

It’s that time of year to start searching for and applying to internships to gain real-world experience that will build your resume and expand on what you are learning in the classroom. As a dues-paying member, you have access to internship opportunities provided at the national level. We also provide our members with updated internship applications at our weekly meetings.

The ISU Stevenson Center is searching for a PR Intern for the 2019-2020 school year. The PR Intern will work around 10 hours a week. Responsibilities include event planning and execution, social media, designing flyers, and more. To apply, email or drop off your application in person with your resume, a writing sample, and the Intern Information Sheet filled out (attached at the bottom of the meeting minutes).

The PRSSA International Conference is Oct. 18-22 in San Diego, CA. Early bird registration deadline is Sept. 6 – start thinking/planning if you want to go! The Conference features:
