YOUNG ALUMNI PANEL
 
School of Communication alumni Cassidy Obis, Stephanie Duquenne, and Michael Williams spoke to ISU PRSSA.
 
ANNOUNCEMENTS
 
MEMBER DUES
 
Member dues are $70 for the semester and $80 for the year. Benefits include regional conference, agency tours, internship database, and many more. The final day to turn in dues is Tuesday, Feb. 23. 
 
WINTERFEST
 
Winterfest is on Wednesday, Jan. 20. We are looking for volunteers to work 30 minute shifts. Email the account if you are interested in volunteering.
 
AGENCY TOURS
 
ISU PRSSA will travel to Chicago on Friday, Jan. 29 to visit Ogilvy PR and Hill + Knowlton. The cost is $10 per traveler.
 
THE X FACTOR
 
DePaul PRSSA invited ISU PRSSA to attend “Creativity Forum: The PR X Factor” on Friday, Feb. 26. Attendees will be able to attend two agency tours as well as two breakout sessions. The cost is $15 before Feb. 5 and $20 after Feb. 5. Learn more about the event here.  
 
T-SHIRT QUILT
 
Members can purchase tickets for $1 for one ticket, $4 for five tickets, and $8 for 10 tickets.
 
INTERNSHIP OPPORUTNITY
 
The office of the Chicago mayor is looking for an intern for the summer. Interested members can view the responsibilities here.

WORKSHOP NEXT WEEK
 
On Tuesday, Jan. 19, members will learn about the agency test. Firms use the writing test to gauge a potential employees writing skills.
