ANNOUNCEMENTS NATIONAL DELEGATE Congratulations to Sydney Holland on becoming ISU PRSSA’s National Delegate! MEMBER DUES Member dues are $70 for the semester, $80 for the year, and $65 for graduating seniors. Benefits include regional conference, agency tours, internship database, and many more. The final day to turn in dues is Tuesday, Feb. 23. Email Tyler at tmkrivi@ilstu.edu for additional information about membership benefits. AGENCY TOURS Thanks for going! SOCIAL The Feb. 7 social is postponed. THE X FACTOR DePaul PRSSA invited ISU PRSSA to attend “Creativity Forum: The PR X Factor” on Friday, Feb. 26 from 9:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Attendees will be able to attend two agency tours as well as two breakout sessions. The cost is $15 before Feb. 5 and $20 after Feb. 5. Learn more about the event here. PRESS RELEASE COMPETITION Members have the opportunity to write a press release about the event and receive free registration to the Creative Forum at DePaul University. The press release should follow AP Style guidelines and other format guidelines. Press releases were due to the account by midnight on Feb. 2. PRSA DINNER The final PRSA Dinner is on Wednesday March 2 at 6 p.m. The topic of the night is social media planning and measurement. The cost is $30. T-SHIRT QUILT Members can purchase tickets for $1 for one ticket, $4 for five tickets, and $8 for 10 tickets. MEMBER ACCOMPLISHMENT Congratulations to Chloe Kasper, Alumni Newsletter Chair, on becoming the Senior Editor for Her Campus’s first Executive Board! Congratulations to Deja Whitt on starting a job at the University Telefund Calling Center! WORKSHOP Next week, Mark Fauble will present a career workshop for members.
