SPEAKER
 
Former ISU PRSSA Professional Adviser Lewis Pryor spoke about ethics in the public relations profession.
 
ANNOUNCEMENTS
 
SURVEY RESULTS
 
Thank you to the members who filled out the survey last Chapter. The results were fairly positive. Participants thought ISU PRSSA has a good reputation and their needs are being met.
 
TOUR
 
ISU PRSSA will tour Edelman and the United Center on Friday, April 1. The cost is $10. There was a meeting after Chapter about the tour itinerary.  
 
PR PALS
 
On Sunday, April 3 PR Pals will ice skate from 2:30 to 4 p.m. The cost is $6 for admission and skate rental. Email the account if you plan on attending.
 
UPTOWN DOWNTOWN SOCIAL
 
There will be a social on Friday, April 15. The price for t-shirts is $15.  T-shirts will be in on Tuesday, April 12.
 
MC STRONG 5K
 
On Saturday April 23, the annual MC Strong 5K will be held at Cornbelters Stadium in honor of Michael Collins.  You can view more information here.

EASTER SEALS VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
 
Easter Seals is holding a Comcast Cares day at the Timber Pointe Outdoor Center.  They are looking for some volunteers to help with their preparation for the summer season. This is a great opportunity for members to get involved around town and have volunteer experience on their resume. You can view more information here.

Next week, Jennifer Gorski Fields will speak in Chapter. She currently works for Abbott in their public affairs department as their media relations specialist. There will be a meet and greet at 7:15 p.m. with Jennifer before Chapter.
