Applications are now being accepted for Summer 2019 Journalism and Communications Academic Internship Programs in Washington, DC. This program includes undergraduate academic credit from George Mason University, internship placement with a media or PR organization in the Washington, DC Metro Area, and fully-furnished on-campus housing. Possible internship sites include The Washington Times and The New York Times. Students who are members of PRSSA will be given priority consideration during the internship placement process. Enter through the front of the Stadium, and then take the elevator to your right up to the third floor. There will be signs located to help guide you. The class meets from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Edwards 225 (Capen Auditorium). Arrive before class begins and stay until it ends.
PRSSA NETWORKING MIXER The PRSSA Networking Mixer is a cocktail-style networking event on Feb. 25 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Hancock Stadium Club in Normal. This is the perfect opportunity to network with PR and communications professionals as well as other ISU students. Appetizers and beverages will be provided. Business professional attire is required, and this event is open to all ISU students. FORUM is PRSSA’s national newspaper and gives members the opportunity to read about the latest industry news and trends, get advice from professionals and learn about the Society.
