Speaker Rory Swikle, vice president at Ogilvy Public Relations, will speak before Chapter at 7 p.m. next Tuesday, April 7 as a part of COM Week. Chapter will continue as usual at 8:15 p.m. If you are not attending the speaker, please wait in the hall until the session is over. Gift of Hope Gift of Hope promotes the benefits of organ donations and registers new donors. Our event is 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 15. Please email the account if you are interested in volunteering. PRSA Dinner The next PRSA dinner is 6 p.m. Thursday, April 16 at the Bone Student Center. It is $25 to attend. Will Koch from COUNTRY Financial will speak about the social media crisis response to help tornado victims in Washington, Ill. Tour Our final tour of the year is Friday, April 17. We will tour Weber Shandwick and Golin. A $10 deposit is needed to secure your spot, which will be returned to you the morning of the tour to give to your driver for gas. Please bring cash for parking and money for lunch. Randy is a consultant based in Washington, D.C., with nearly 20 years experience and expertise in strategic communications, public affairs, public policy, government relations, marketing, branding, executive counsel, writing, and law. He is a partner at kglobal, a Washington, D.C., based full-service communications firm, which specializes in public affairs and public relations. With an extensive and impressive career, Randy has worked for the U.S. Army, Ketchum, Ogilvy Public Relations, and was the Deputy Press Secretary for the Office of Vice President Dick Cheney.
