APRIL 21: Networking with other ISU Student Organizations (LAST MEETING) Connect with our Client This semester PRSSA is working with The Lash Room, a beauty hot spot in Bloomington-Normal that specializes in eyelash extensions and hair removal. April 21 Networking Event PRSSA will be hosting a networking event for all students in the School of Communication on Wednesday, April 21 at 7 p.m.. This event will give you an opportunity to network with students outside of PRSSA both on a social and professional level. The first 5 people to sign up and attend the event will win a $5 Starbucks gift card. This event will run the length of our usual meeting times at around 45 minutes. Membership Dues If you didn’t have the chance to pay dues in the fall semester, you have another opportunity to become a member this semester! As before, you venmo $80 to PRSSA-ISU, and with that you will have access to PRSA dinners, agency tours, leadership positions, scholarships, and PRSA conferences. COM Week! COM Week is the annual professional development event held by Illinois State University’s School of Communication. This week-long virtual event will show students how to “Zoom Past the Limitations.” Featuring panels, keynotes, and special events, COM Week provides opportunities for current students to network with and learn from accomplished alumni and professionals working in a diverse array of communication professions.
