Executive Board Applications

If you would like to apply for the 2015-2016 executive board, send your resume, cover letter, ranking of your top three positions, and optional letter of recommendation in one PDF to [email protected]. Interviews will be scheduled in the order they are received. Applications are due by midnight Tuesday, March 31.

COM Week 2015 

COM Week 2015 is April 6–9 with 15 panels and five keynotes. This year’s theme is “Inspiring Innovation.” Download the official Illinois State University app for free in the iOS App Store or Google Play Store and retrieve the COM Week 2015 Guide. The Career Institute is from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, April 9 in the Brown Ballroom of the Bone Student Center. You may pre-register here.

Member Certificates 

If you are a dues-paying member, you may pick up your membership certificate with Cassidy.

Gift of Hope

Gift of Hope promotes the benefits of organ donations and registers new donors. Our event will be 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 15. Please email the account if you are interested in volunteering. 

PRSA Dinner 

The next PRSA dinner is 6 p.m. Thursday, April 16 at the Bone Student Center. It is $25 to attend. Registration will be available until Saturday, April 11. Will Koch from COUNTRY Financial will speak about the social media crisis response to help tornado victims in Washington, Ill.

Tour

The next tour is Friday, April 3 in Chicago. We will tour Edelman and the United Center. A $10 deposit is needed to secure your spot, which will be returned to you the morning of the tour to give to your driver for gas. Please bring cash for parking and money for lunch. Please email the account or contact Frank if interested in attending. There will be a mandatory meeting for all attendees next Tuesday after Chapter. 

Social

We will hold a social Saturday, April 11 in Uptown Normal and Downtown Bloomington. You must be at least 21 years old to attend.

The MCstrong 5k is at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 18. Volunteers, runners, and walkers are needed. If you are interested in volunteering, please ask Ali Seys for the form.
